early AIRWAY INTERVENTION
Airway Orthodontics for Children
Intervention as early as birth can significantly influence a child’s growth and development. Structure of the face can be improved and breathing can be corrected for a lifetime of good health. Risk of dental decay is reduced, risk of poor brain development from poor oxygenation is lessened, and likelihood of ADHD or other behavioral challenges are decreased.
Breathing through your nose promotes healthy oxygen uptake, filtering out harmful particles before reaching the lungs. Mouth breathing may lead to dental decay, gingivitis and crooked teeth. Mouth breathers catch more colds and are sick more frequently than those who breathe through their nose.
